The first Jenius Tech Hub officially present in Bandung


Bandung, November 21, 2019 – Jenius, Bank BTPN's life finance solution, has maintained its presence in the digital savvy through relevant technology with their daily needs. Therefore, Jenius launched the first Tech Hub as a “home” for tech enthusiasts in Bandung and develops the financial services to be more relevant to digital savvy who keeps growing.

 

Irwan S. Tisnabudi, Bank BTPN Head of Digital Banking, explained, “The city of Bandung is not only developed in terms of creativity, but it also presents different innovations in technology and digital supported by a lot of talented tech enthusiasts. The presence of Jenius Tech Hub in Bandung is an effort from Jenius to be more adaptive to the technology development as well as the applicable needs and becomes a more comprehensive life finance solutions.”

 

The opening of the first Jenius Tech Hub received a warm welcome from tech enthusiasts in Bandung. It could be seen from the number of candidates who were willing to take part in the event. At the moment, there is a tech squad comprising of eight people in the Jenius Tech Hub Bandung. The presence of this team is also to serve as a medium to develop the Jenius services and features through the co-creation process including by listening to inputs from digital savvy in Bandung.

 

By carrying the same concept, Jenius Tech Hub Bandung featurizes the open space theme and continues to present five Jenius values including the agile way of working, be bold (by voicing ideas and thoughts), customer focus, be an owner (having a strong responsibility for Jenius), continuous learning (always develop and adapt to change).

 

“Jenius Tech Hub in Bandung is our maiden project to facilitate tech enthusiasts outside Jakarta in building the digital ecosystem in Jenius. By presenting the Tech Hub, Jenius can net more supports and participation from tech enthusiasts from other areas to build a stronger and more varied technology and digital based ecosystem. Therefore, tech enthusiasts from other areas can convey their spirits without going to Jakarta headquarters,” Alfonso Tambunan, Bank BTPN Digital Banking Solution Head, explained.

 

Since launched in August 2016, Jenius continuously receives positive response from Indonesian digital savvy. Through the latest technology and information adaptation, Jenius presents revolutionary features by integrating the lifestyle and financial elements (life finance concept) to help digital savvy in managing their financing simpler, smarter and saver.

 

Jenius has been designed through the co-creation and collaboration process with the digital savvy society. The spirit has been carried on in developing many features through the continuous improvement in innovation. This is, of course, supported by tech enthusiasts starting from listening to inputs process, designing, continuous test, launching, evaluating, to continuing services or features on the Jenius application. “Hopefully, the presence of Tech Hub in Bandung could strengthen Jenius in providing the life finance solution based on strong technology and digital in Indonesia,” Irwan concluded.
