Excitement Builds for #LariBarengJenius in Bali Ahead of Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2024
Denpasar, June 21, 2024 — Jenius, Bank BTPN's life finance solution, is once again collaborating with Pocari Sweat as the co-title sponsor for the Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2024, which will take place between July 20th and 21st, 2024, in Bandung. This marks Jenius' second year as a co-title sponsor, promoting the "Think Unthinkable" spirit that encourages runners to achieve their healthy lifestyle goals. Through the #LariBarengJenius program, Jenius also continues to reaffirm its role in supporting the running community in Indonesia.
Febri Rusli, Digital Banking Product & Innovation Head at Bank BTPN, stated, “Jenius believes that running marathons and financial planning share the same philosophy: moving through a continuous step- by-step process to reach the finish line. This second-year collaboration demonstrates Jenius' consistency in promoting the #LariBarengJenius spirit at every step, encouraging everyone, not just runners, to achieve their personal bests and to turn their Unthinkable targets into realities. We believe everyone has their way of reaching their goals, both in life and finance.”
To further promote the #LariBarengJenius spirit and encourage runners to achieve their unthinkable goals, Jenius and Pocari Sweat are organizing the "Road to Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2024" events in 10 cities across Indonesia. One of the events was held in Denpasar, Bali, attended by 200 participants, with various exciting activities over two days on June 15-16, 2024, at the Santika Siligita Hotel. On the first day, the event began with a running kit collection followed by a sharing session and carbo-loading. The sharing session featured presentations from Rinaldy Akbar, Pocari Sweat Sport Science Expert, on " Final Preparation for Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2024", dr. Anthony, Sp.Ko, a sports medicine specialist from Siloam Hospitals Bali who provides information about treating sports injuries, and Muhammad Fikri, Teman Lari Jenius, who shared his journey of participating in international marathons and how Jenius supported his financial preparation from pre-departure to the ease of transacting abroad. Meanwhile, participants joined a 5K training run on the second day with the Pocari Sweat Pacer.
Muhammad Fikri, Teman Lari Jenius, shared his Unthinkable running journey, “Running challenges me to maximize my potential and conquer the targets that seem impossible to achieve. My passion for running drives me to participate in marathons worldwide, allowing me to see the world in a way I love. Throughout my running journey, Jenius' innovative features have supported me, making everything from preparation to domestic and international transactions seamless and convenient.”
“I prepared my running needs and participated in races in countries such as Berlin, Singapore, Chicago, and London by saving in Dream Saver. Preparing for trips abroad is also easier with the Foreign Currency feature for buying and selling foreign currencies 24/7 directly from the Jenius app, eliminating the need to go to a money changer. I experienced smoother transactions overseas by linking the Jenius foreign currency balance with the Jenius Main Debit Card (m-Card). The card can be used for online and offline transactions, cash withdrawals at any merchants and ATMs with the VISA logo, and even as a payment tool for transportation on the MRT, subways, or buses in some countries,” added Fikri.
"Road to Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2024" has been successfully held in Balikpapan, Pontianak, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bogor, and Pekanbaru from April to June 2024. This event series will continue in two other cities: Makassar (June 29-30, 2024) and Semarang (July 6-7, 2024).
Teman Jenius can also purchase tickets for the Virtual Run Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2024, scheduled for July 21, 2024. Registration is open until July 15, 2024, and available on the Blibli e-commerce platform with payment methods using Jenius Pay, Jenius Debit, or Credit Card.
Teman Jenius can enjoy #LariBarengJenius special offers to prepare their running essentials, such as buying running clothes and equipment, shopping for nutritious food, and booking accommodation and travel tickets.
Teman Jenius can shop for their favorite running outfits on e-commerce platforms such as MAP Club, Tokopedia, and Shopee with 0% installments using the Jenius Credit Card. Additionally, they can enjoy special offers on running equipment like smartwatches from Garmin and Urban Republic, which are also available with 0% installments using the Jenius Credit Card.
Moreover, teman Jenius can use 0% installment promos for every accommodation and travel ticket transaction on the Tiket.com travel platform. Then, to complete nutritional intake needs, teman Jenius can benefit from an IDR50,000 discount when shopping at Allofresh using Jenius Pay.
“Everyone can find their way to achieve their goals because the opportunities are always there. No matter which path we choose, Jenius will always accompany every unthinkable journey, whether reaching personal financial goals or pursuing passions and hobbies,” concluded Febri.
